F&N SHOPPING VILLAGE UNDERGOES MAJOR TRANSFORMATION

A whole new look and feel coming to F&N Shopping Village this Fall

Wilmington, DE (Newcastle County) – June 13, 2022 – F&N Shopping Village, located at Naamans Road and Foulk Road in Wilmington, DE, will undergo a major transformation that will revamp the physical character of the property! Originally redeveloped and expanded in 1998, the 87,500 square-foot Shopping Center, which is anchored by ACME and Rite Aid, is due for significant upgrades that will revitalize the Center’s aesthetics and provide a first-class shopping experience for customers.

With a clean and modern design approach, the Shopping Center’s renovations will include fresh paint and EIFS, updated brick façade, larger sign bands, LED parking lot lighting and parking lot re-paving. The project will also introduce designated parking for pickup orders at ACME, updated pylon signs and          eye-catching landscaping to create a welcoming atmosphere.

According to Kevin Lahn, Project Manager, “Although the Shopping Center has been fully leased and occupied for the last several years, the owners of the F&N Shopping Village thought it was a good time to freshen the appearance of the Shopping Center and modernize its colors and building materials”.

With construction scheduled to conclude by the end of Summer, Waters Retail Group (Kennett Square, PA), Bernardon, Inc. (West Chester, PA) and Ames Construction, Inc. (Ephrata, PA) have been working diligently to navigate site-specific challenges throughout the design and construction process to deliver a Shopping Center that stands out among competitors.
