Best Buy opens in the Apple Blossom Convenience Center in Winchester, VA.
Winchester, VA (Frederick County) – April 1, 2010 – R.J. Waters & Associates, Inc., Southeast Pennsylvania’s premier development, management, leasing, and brokerage firm, announces the opening of the brand new 33,000 square foot Best Buy in the Apple Blossom Convenience Center in Winchester, VA.
The Apple Blossom Convenience Center is located at the intersection of S. Pleasant Valley Rd. and E. Jubal Early Dr. in Winchester, VA. The 53,700 square foot Shopping Center is anchored by Best Buy and Valley Health Systems Urgent Care Center, and shadow anchored by Walgreen’s Drug Store. R.J. Waters & Associates’ Dempsey Hydrick and Bob Waters represented the landlord in the transaction.
“The follow-the-leader mentality of many of the small and medium-sized box stores is not always the best model. There’s something to say for location, and Best Buy found a great one here. Easy access from Interstate 81, high traffic volumes and visibility, and the front door to the Apple Blossom Mall. I think Best Buy will do very well here,” said Waters. With the addition of Best Buy to the center, the Landlord plans a full remodel of the remainder of the center in 2011.
